Full Moon+Winter Solstice+Lunar Eclipse

Celebrating the night with blue moons.  Unfortunately, it's too cloudy to see, but I've been watching beautiful videos about Hindu dancing and smoking gange with my roommates.

After my roommates went to sleep, I set up an altar of water, fire, air, earth to cleanse the crystal I found up in the dead mushroom mountains of the UP.  A quick crunked smoke break to check the status of the still cloudy eclipse, and I started thinking about the relationship of the elements.  The tea I was drinking was made through the herbs of the tea (earth), heated tap water (fire and water), and my breath sipping it in me (air and spirit).  The cigarette I was smoking requires tobacco (earth), a lighter (fire), hydration and spit for the experience to be comfortable (water)(... stretching it a little, i know), and my lungs inhaling (air).  A bong uses water, earth, air, fire.  So does a meal.

After smoking and cleansing and jumping up and down (hoping the moon would again appear!!... to no avail), I made another mother goddess-inspired piece, filled with all sorts of moon magick.  And one of my penpals sent me a necklace with a purple crystal she charged during the eclipse.  So maybe I missed a once-in-a-lifestyle experience that only occurs about once every 400 hundred years... but... some beautiful things still came out of it.

Namaste.
